Build a traditional symbol of transformation and success with this 736-piece set, inspired by the Chinese idiom "The carp leaps over the dragon gate." According to the legend, a carp that swims upstream and leaps over the dragon gate becomes a dragon, a story of hard work and perseverance paying off.
The set has a detailed brick-built dragon gate and three carp in the water below. Turn the handle and the red and yellow carp leap over the gate. A sign with the idiom in Chinese characters attaches to the display. Standing about 20 cm (7.5 in.) high, it makes a striking Spring Festival decoration or a year-round centerpiece.
It's a meaningful gift for kids and adults aged 9 and up, for culture lovers, families and LEGO collectors, and a good way to mark a graduation, a new job or any hard-won achievement. The LEGO Builder app provides zoomable 3D instructions with progress tracking, so it's easy to build solo or with friends.
